HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Full-time MITT High School students or part-time high school students from a partnering school division should meet with the MITT Accessibility Services Advisor as early as possible in the application process. MITT works closely with with students, families, and our partnering school divisions to support students with accessibility requirements.
Accessibility services are available to all post-secondary learners with a documented disability. MITT will work closely with students and any sponsoring agencies (WCB, MarketAbilties, etc.) to develop a plan to meet students' learning needs.
To access Accessibility Services as a post-secondary student:
- Follow the regular MITT program application and admission process, or
- Request that your sponsor contact the MITT Accessibility Services Advisor to coordinate the application process
- Once the application process has started, an assessment meeting will be scheduled by the MITT Accessibility Services Advisor, and will include the student and sponsor to develop a strong education plan.
To meet with the Accessibility Services Advisor, please contact Student Services at 204-989-6512, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that a paper application form is available upon request, by emailing email@example.com.
